David Sheff, New York Times writer and best selling author of Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction, and Clean: America's Greatest Tragedy
David states, that "addiction is a preventable and treatable disease, not a moral failing", that impacts all aspects of family life. David offers clear counsel for parents and families to help prevent and respond appropriately to alchohol/drug problems with addicts and their loved ones no matter what stage of the illness they're in. This is an opportunity for us to rethink the greatest public health challenge of our time and discuss ways we can mobilize our communtiy.
